Alex Krieg

Alex Krieg has extensive experience in urban planning and transportation, currently serving as the Director of Access, Integration & Station Area Planning at Sound Transit since February 2018, after holding various positions including Deputy Director and Senior Manager in Planning & Integration. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Planner at Puget Sound Regional Council and as a Project Associate at BERK. Alex also has experience in bicycle and pedestrian planning and has held roles with the US Census Bureau and several research internships with community development organizations. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from New College of Florida.
