Ariel Taylor is an experienced professional in government and community relations, currently serving as the Director of Government & Community Relations for Sound Transit since July 2018, after holding roles as Government and Community Relations Manager and Government Relations Officer within the organization. Prior experience includes positions as Legislative Policy Analyst and Director of Communications for King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci and Policy and Community Affairs Specialist at Bellevue Downtown Association. Ariel's earlier career includes serving as Senior Legislative Assistant to Representative Larry Springer and an internship in the Washington House of Representatives. Ariel holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Seattle University, a fellowship from The Institute for a Democratic Future, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from The Evergreen State College.
