Benjamin Marx

Benjamin Marx currently serves as the Acting Executive Director of Service Delivery Operations and Director of Corridor Operations at Sound Transit, a position held since February 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Superintendent of Operations at BNSF Railway for the Greater Seattle Terminal Complex from February 2022 to February 2023, and over 15 years in various operational roles at BNSF Railway, including Assistant Superintendent of Intermodal Operations and Terminal Superintendent. Benjamin also has military experience as a U.S. Army Transportation Officer from June 1996 to December 2005, overseeing transportation and multimodal logistics in various command and staff roles. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Seattle University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
