Cynthia Padilla is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and urban planning, currently serving as Deputy Project Director for Sound Transit since May 2011. In this role, Cynthia leads the Sound Transit Stride Bus Rapid Transit program, overseeing design and construction contracts, stakeholder coordination, and management of a General Contractor Construction Manager contract. Previous positions at Sound Transit include HCT Development Manager and Senior Project Manager, focusing on key BRT projects in partnership with the Washington State Department of Transportation. Cynthia has also held positions as Principal Partner at Bradley Planning & Design, Urban Designer for the City of Shoreline, and Urban Design Intern with the Seattle Department of Transportation. Cynthia's educational background includes a Master of Urban Planning with a Certificate in Urban Design from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University.
