Heather Hewitt

Heather Hewitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and sustainability. Currently serving as Corridor Permit Manager and previously as Permit Administrator at Sound Transit since November 2018, Heather has a strong background in environmental compliance and project management. At Trident Seafoods, from June 2011 to June 2017, Heather designed and implemented management systems to enhance environmental performance, managed compliance with the Clean Water Act for multiple facilities, and developed an online Process Safety Management system. Heather's early experiences include roles as a Sustainable Seafood Research Intern at FishChoice and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, complemented by an educational background with an MMA in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington and a BA in Biology from Dartmouth College.
