Katie Navidi serves as a Project Manager for User Experience Research & Insights at Sound Transit, overseeing user research projects aimed at enhancing transit accessibility in the Seattle region. Notable achievements include pioneering eye-tracking research for station signage and improving digital product usability through various UX research methods. Previously, Katie held the position of User Researcher at the Human Interaction with Nature and Technology Systems Lab, leading mixed-methods studies on human interaction with nature and technology, designing VR/AR experiments, and developing models to measure user presence. Other experience includes working as a Research Assistant at SOPISDEW in Cameroon, where Katie contributed to public health research strategy, and as a Project Manager for Partnerships at GlobeMed, managing teams to support grassroots development initiatives.
