Kirk Hopkins

Kirk Hopkins is a seasoned supply chain and procurement professional with extensive experience in materials management and strategic purchasing. Currently serving as a Senior Materials & Services Analyst at Sound Transit since 2024, Kirk focuses on analyzing and procuring essential light rail operational materials and services for the regional transit system. Previously held the position of Supply Chain Manager at American Piledriving Equipment Inc. from 2019 to 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the manufacturing and distribution of deep foundation construction equipment. Prior to that, Kirk worked as a Commodity Manager - Paper Buyer at Trojan Lithograph Corporation from 2010 to 2019, managing the procurement of various paper products and ensuring efficient inventory management. Earlier experience includes a role as Category Manager - Packaging Buyer at Ocean Beauty Seafoods in 2009, where responsibilities encompassed negotiating packaging supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
