Matt Preedy

Matt Preedy is an experienced professional in construction management, currently serving as the Director of Construction Management at Sound Transit since June 2015, previously holding the role of Deputy Director in the same area. Prior to this, Matt Preedy worked at the Washington State Department of Transportation from June 1999 to June 2015, where positions included Deputy Program Administrator for the Alaskan Way Viaduct - SR99 Bored Tunnel Project, Engineering Manager for the Northwest Region, and Resident Engineer. Matt Preedy earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, complementing earlier studies in Pre-Engineering at Central Washington University.
