Tracy Reed

Tracy Reed serves as the Deputy Executive Director of Project Management at Sound Transit, leading a division of 28 professionals focused on delivering buildings and infrastructure projects, capital improvements, and expanding the light rail vehicle fleet. With a rich background in project management, Tracy has successfully overseen significant capital projects, including the $449 million Operating and Maintenance Facility - East and the $740 million procurement of new light rail vehicles. Previous roles at Sound Transit include Rail Activation Manager and Deputy Project Director for the University Link subway extension. Tracy's extensive experience also includes contributions to the American Public Transportation Association and positions in various organizations, such as Parsons Brinckerhoff and the Transportation Choices Coalition. Tracy holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from The Colorado College.
