Freelance Audio Engineer/Session Musician at SoundBetter

Lucas Dellaporta has a diverse work experience in the audio and music industry. Lucas started working at The Mick Louis Band in 2021 as a Live Bassist, and later became the FOH/MON Engineer for a short period. In the same year, they joined Nevermourn as a Bassist and also served as the band's recording engineer, handling the instrumentation and vocals using Pro Tools and Universal Audio hardware/software. Lucas also played a significant role in managing the band's social media platforms, developing advertising campaigns, and handling their digital distribution and logistics on various music platforms.

In 2022, Lucas worked as a Live Sound Engineer at NightCap and as an Audio Engineer at Prost Bier and Music Hall. Lucas also worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer at Sage Sound Studios and SoundBetter, offering their services in audio engineering and session musician work. Lucas further showcased their skills as a Bassist in Dystopica and offered their expertise as a Recording Engineer at Ace Tone Productions LLC, where they started as an Assistant Recording Engineer and later transitioned into a full-time Recording Engineer.

Lucas currently works as an Audio Tech A2 at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, where they started in 2022. Lucas has proven their proficiency in the field through their versatile roles and experiences.

Lucas Dellaporta has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Technology from Manhattanville College, which they obtained between 2016 and 2020. In 2020, they also earned a certificate in Pro Tools from Berklee Online. In 2021, Lucas obtained a certificate in Music Industry Essentials from NYU Tisch Art and Public Policy. Furthermore, they have obtained multiple certifications, including Avid Certified | Pro Tools Post Professional from Avid in February 2022, NYU Music Industry Essentials from Yellowbrick in October 2021, Avid Certified | Pro Tools Music Professional from Avid in August 2021, and Avid Certified User - Pro Tools from Avid in December 2020.
