Gabriel DeRita, CPCC, PCC

Gabriel DeRita, PCC, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Coach & Facilitator at Medley since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lapin International as a Coach & Facilitator starting in October 2022. In this role, they facilitated trainings and provided executive coaching based on the Lapin philosophy of purpose and values. Gabriel also worked as a Leadership Coach at Sounding Board, Inc from May 2022. Gabriel was responsible for using the Sounding Board platform to deliver flexible and impactful leadership coaching engagements.

From August 2019, Gabriel was a Purpose Alignment Coach & Leadership Development Trainer at Effective Connection, LLC. In this role, they helped individuals gain clarity on their purpose and path in both life and business, with a focus on removing obstacles and achieving success.

Before transitioning to coaching and facilitation, Gabriel pursued their passion for travel by embarking on a six-month solo journey around the world on their bike from May 2018 to July 2019. During this time, they explored over 20 countries on four continents, camping, volunteering, and staying with locals.

Gabriel's earlier experience includes roles as an Enterprise Account Executive at Beekeeper, where they closed the largest revenue deal in North America in 2018. Gabriel also worked as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Peek.com, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and leveraging their tourism marketing and operations management experience to ensure the success of new partners.

Prior to that, Gabriel worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant as a freelancer from November 2013 to December 2014. Gabriel also held the position of Marketing Director at Magic Bus San Francisco, where they achieved a 160% year-over-year revenue growth and provided excellent customer service.

Gabriel's professional journey began with a Media and Communications Apprentice role at Sierra Club in July 2010. Throughout their career, Gabriel has accumulated over 700 hours of coaching and facilitation experience, and they are certified as an ICF PCC coach.

Gabriel DeRita, PCC has a diverse education history. Gabriel obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Sciences from Bard College, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. In 2014, Gabriel participated in the Marcademy program and became a Marcademy Fellow, specializing in Online Marketing. Recently, in 2019 to 2020, they pursued further education at the Co-Active Training Institute, where they obtained their CPCC (Certified Professional CoActive Coach) certification in Personal Awareness and Self-Improvement.

In addition to their formal education, Gabriel has attained several certifications. In December 2020, they earned the Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) certification from the Co-Active Training Institute. Later, in September 2021, Gabriel achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation. Additionally, in December 2020, they obtained the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the same institution.
