Brian A. Femminella

Brian A. Femminella has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2016, they were a United Nations Intern, where they developed solutions to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. In 2017, they joined the US Army and served as a Platoon Leader, Second Lieutenant, and Cadet Battalion Executive Officer (XO). Brian A. also served as a United States Army Reserve and USC ROTC Cadet, and was an Operations Intern to the Commanding General at Fort Knox. In 2018, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California. In 2019, they were a Cyber Security and Information Systems Intern at the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC). In 2020, they were a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SoundMind, a technology startup based on social impact and ed-tech. Brian A. was also a member of Society 53, a governing board of USC's Student Alumni Society, and a Legislative Policy Intern in the Majority Whip's Office of the US House of Representatives. Additionally, they were a REU Science and Engineering Researcher at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies.

Brian A. Femminella is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Southern California, studying Political Science, with a minor in Cyber Security & Digital Forensics. Brian A. is also enrolled in the Founder Institute's Silicon Valley Select Portfolio. Prior to their current studies, Brian graduated from Smithtown High School East in 2018 with an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors. Brian A. has also obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Cybersecurity Foundations, Machine Learning in Mobile Applications, Public Speaking & Rhetoric Scholar, GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Medical Devices, Research HIPAA, Social-Behavioral Human Subjects, and an Active Secret Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
