Karen Bullock

Karen Bullock has extensive experience in publishing and project management, currently serving as the Director of Trade Production at Sounds True since September 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating the trade product life cycle for over 4000 titles annually and supervising production operations and training. Prior roles at Sounds True include Digital Project Manager, Managing Editor, and Managing Proofreader, demonstrating a strong background in managing complex projects and ensuring editorial accuracy. Prior to Sounds True, Bullock held positions at Pioneer Drama Service, Cincinnati Book Publishing, Women Writing For a Change, and Barnes & Noble, showcasing leadership in various aspects of book production, vendor relations, and customer service. Bullock holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Denison University and has also pursued advanced studies in England.
