Germano Marano

Germano Marano has an extensive and varied work experience spanning several industries. Germano is the CEO and Chairman of SoundsOfThings (SoT), a Metaverse for social purposes based in Italy and London. Germano was also the CEO and Chairman of SoundsOfThings Limited, where they served as a Consultant. Germano worked as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Intergic srl. Marano served as the Director of Business Development at Blippar, a technology company specializing in augmented reality. Germano was the General Manager Italy at Powa Technologies, where they successfully launched PowaTag in Italy and managed a team of 20 employees. Marano also served as the Sales Director Italy at Powa Technologies. Prior to that, they worked at Webtrends as a Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager Southern2 EMEA. Germano started their career at Pirelli, Urmet Domus, Siemens, and Altran as a Test Engineer and Consultant Engineer. Marano has consistently achieved impressive results in sales and business development throughout their career.

Germano Marano earned a Master's degree in Electronics (Control, Automation, and Telecommunication) from the Università degli Studi di Messina between 1993 and 1999. Germano attended ITIS Marconi Messina from 1988 to 1993 for their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. In 2009, they obtained a certification as a Webtrends Certified Engineer, Administrator, and System Implementer from Webtrends. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Smartly Institute, completing it in 2020.
