Thibault Doubliez

Thibault Doubliez has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Thibault is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter) since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Software Engineer from May 2021 to February 2022. Thibault also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from July 2017 to April 2021.

Before joining SoundThinking, Thibault worked as a Senior Software Developer at IDKA AB from March 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for architecture and development of the Idka social platform, including DevOps and web application development.

Thibault also gained experience at Advisa AB, where they held roles as a Tech Lead from October 2015 to February 2016 and as a Software Developer from September 2013 to September 2015. At Advisa, they were responsible for system architecture, designing and implementing a Docker-based architecture for zero downtime deployments. Thibault also developed applications and services for the company, including the payment system used for insurance sales.

Thibault started their career with an internship at Atos Worldline in 2012 and worked briefly as a conveyor assembly worker at Sidel in 2011.

Thibault Doubliez received their education at several institutions. Thibault earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Biology from Lycée Saint-Etienne, Strasbourg in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Lycée Saint-Louis, Paris, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Thibault then pursued their Engineering degree with a focus on Physics, Mechanics, and Computer Science at Ecole centrale de Lyon from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, they also obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London.
