Rick Huang

Rick Huang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Rick started their career in 2013 as an iOS App Developer at 光盈科技, where they developed iOS apps focusing on IoT applications, managed development schedules, and wrote technical design specifications. In 2017, they joined Phoenix Interactive Co., Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on IM App, SIP/VoIP App, and Online Interview Service. Rick also managed schedules using SCRUM and Git, and handled code signing, certificates, APNS, and App releases. In 2019, Rick worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Funpodium Co., Ltd, where they refactored legacy code, migrated Objective-C codebase to Swift, and led the app from development to production stage. Rick then joined Silkrode Technologies Co. Ltd as a Senior iOS Developer, where they worked on VPN and browser solutions, and built infrastructure including network layer and KB manager. In 2020, Rick became a Senior Software Engineer at iCHEF Co., Ltd, where they developed the iCHEF POS App for over 9,000 restaurants in Asia. Rick also worked on online restaurant features and CRM system enhancements to address the impact of COVID-19. Additionally, they implemented modular management practices for improved dependency, testing, and faster build time. In 2023, Rick joined Soundwave Hearing, LLC as a Software Engineer.

Rick Huang obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - Computer Science from Yuan-Ze University, where they studied from 2012 to 2013.
