Leonard Baart de la Faille has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Leonard began their career in 1999 as a Project Manager at KLM Engineering & Maintenance. Leonard then moved on to Hittech Multin BV as a Project Manager in 2002 and later joined Agentschap NL as an Innovation Expert in 2004.

In 2008, Leonard joined TNO where they held multiple roles including System Integrator, Project Manager, and Interim Manager Innovation Centre Buildings. Leonard also served as the Program Manager for the Renovation of Steel Bridges program, which involved reviewing designs and conducting research on renovation techniques.

Leonard then worked as an Independent System Designer, Engineer, Developer, and Project Manager at Studio Houthaak from 2017 to 2021. Leonard'sresponsibilities at Studio Houthaak included systems engineering, simulation, project management, data analysis, and product development.

Leonard has also worked at Delft University of Technology as a Design Project Lecturer, coaching mechanical engineering students in design assignments and teaching coding in Python.

Currently, Leonard serves as a Lead R&D Engineer at both Van der Hoeven Horticultural Projects B.V., starting in 2019, and Source.ag, starting in 2022.
