Rink Stiekema

Rink Stiekema has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Rink started their career in 2014 as an ICT Support specialist at Studentaanhuis.nl, where they resolved computer problems and taught clients basic to intermediate computer skills. Rink also worked on a project involving Google Analytics and Marktplaats AdMarkt workshops.

In 2016, Rink took on the role of Frontend Engineer at BadaLuma GmbH. Rink built full-stack applications and data visualization tools for the pharmaceutical market, including charts, data tables, and a platform for rewatching masterclasses. Rink worked on developing a protected video streaming application and a back-office for managing access rights and uploading videos.

From 2016 to 2020, Rink took on freelance web development work for small businesses through their company Dub Webdesign. Rink built branding websites, performed SEO, and actively managed and analyzed web analytics. Rink also developed custom products such as a tool to calculate the yield and efficiency of solar panels built into highway sound barriers, and a tool to create maintenance and renovation reports for commercial buildings, including customizable text fields, offline support, and PDF exports.

In 2019, Rink joined Scitodate as a Full Stack Engineer. Rink worked on various projects until 2023, developing their skills in both the front-end and back-end aspects of web development.

Currently, Rink is a Frontend Engineer at Source.ag, a role they started in April 2023.

Rink Stiekema completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2014 to 2017. Rink then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Big Data Engineering from the same institution, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), from 2017 to 2019.
