Laura Zapata

Laura Zapata has over three years of professional experience in operations management, talent development, human resources, project development, and planeación y control de la gestión. In 2019, they joined Source Meridian as an Operations Management & Talent Development Lead and Human Resources Director. In this role, they planned, directed, and managed all human resource initiatives, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations. Laura also collaborated with other managers to deliver employee training programs, employee feedback, ensure compliance, and facilitate performance management. Additionally, in 2019, they joined Greenbelt Life as a Project Development Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Fundacion Salva Terra from 2016 to 2019 as a Planeación y Control de la Gestión.

Laura Zapata has a diverse educational background. Laura obtained an Especialista en Gerencia from Fundación Universitaria CEIPA in 2019, a Planeación y Desarrollo Social from Colegio Mayor de Antioquia between 2008 and 2014, and an Especialista en Responsabilidad Social Empresarial in Administración y Gestión de Empresas, General from Universidad de Antioquia in 2015. Additionally, they have a Diplomado Gestión del Talento Digital con HR Analytics - El futuro de RR.HH. from Universitaria de Cataluña, obtained in July 2022.
