James Sheppard has a diverse work experience in the furniture and office supply industry. James started their career at Corporate Express in 1997 as the Furniture Outbound Manager, where they stayed until 2005. James then joined Staples as a Supervisor for Project Coordination in 1997 and worked there until 2012. In 2012, they joined Source Office Furniture as the Northern Alberta Regional Sales Manager/Assistant Branch Manager, where they were responsible for managing and directing the Inside/Outside Sales Team, overseeing the design team, recruiting and training team members, conducting sales meetings, and setting sales targets. In 2017, they were promoted to National Director of Sales, where they continued to lead the sales team and implemented sales process improvement processes.
James Sheppard has a limited education history, with two notable experiences. In 2010, they attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) and obtained a Project Management Certificate, specializing in project management. James pursued this certification until 2011. Later, in 2015, James briefly attended UBC Sauder School of Business to study Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. However, no specific degree was mentioned regarding their time at UBC Sauder. In addition to their education, James has also obtained a certification in Marketing on Twitter through LinkedIn, which they earned in January 2021.
