Lisa Schreiber is a seasoned art director and designer with extensive experience in visual communication and brand identity. Currently serving as the Senior Art Director at Callisto Publishing / Sourcebooks since May 2023, Schreiber previously held multiple roles at Callisto Media from August 2019 and has operated as an art director and designer at Visual Communication since 2013. Prior to these roles, Schreiber offered design consultancy at The New York Times from January 2015 to January 2019 and spent over 15 years at The Washington Post, where responsibilities included oversight of design for feature sections and the creation of content for The Washington Post Magazine. Schreiber holds an Associate of Arts in Commercial and Advertising Art from Montgomery College and has pursued continued education at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University.

In the early 1990s, Sourcebooks had its initial success in bookstores with business titles like The Small Business Survival Guide and The Complete Book of BusinessPlans.In 1993, Sourcebooks partnered with retailer Sally Beauty Supply to develop and publish 500 Beauty Solutions, later expanded to 1001 Beauty Solutions. These books led to Sourcebooks’ first six-figure print runs and furthered its reach into other general trade books and non-bookstore markets.
