Micz Flor is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and management. As the Creator, Developer, and Maintainer at Phoniebox since January 2017, Micz has contributed to a contactless jukebox utilizing Raspberry Pi for various audio formats. As Managing Director of Booktype GmbH since March 2015, Micz has led efforts in creating single-source publishing software for authors and editorial teams. Micz co-founded Sourcefabric in April 2010 and currently serves as Communications Director, overseeing a global team in media development. Additionally, Micz is the Founder of Inkmap and the Chairman of the Board for transmediale - festival for art & digital culture. Early career includes co-founding and serving as CEO of Redaktion und Alltag from 2001 to 2011. Academically, Micz holds degrees in Psychology from Technische Universität Darmstadt, The University of Manchester, and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with a focus on both social and industrial-organizational psychology.

Sourcefabric develops and maintains a strong media development portfolio which has enabled us to work in some of the most challenging political environments since our inception in 2010. In this way, our open source code is our contribution to the dissemination of free speech. As a nonprofit organisation, we solicit grants and funding on a project-by-project basis.
