Daniel Egbo

Daniel Egbo is a Machine Learning Engineer at Nabafat.AI since June 2023, focusing on research, development, and implementation of advanced AI models, alongside data preprocessing and analysis. Concurrently, Daniel serves as a PhD Candidate at the South African Astronomical Observatory since February 2021. Previously, Daniel was a Machine Learning Intern at Ubenwa Health from September 2020 to January 2021 and a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from January 2017 to December 2019, where work involved analyzing the AR Sco Binary Star using data from the Sutherland 1 metre telescope. Daniel also has experience as a Visiting Research Fellow at the South African Astronomical Observatory in late 2018. Academically, Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics & Astronomy, a Master's Degree in Physics & Astronomy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Astronomy at the University of Cape Town, expected to graduate in December 2023.
