Zahier Ebrahim

Zahier Ebrahim currently serves as the Divisional Head of Planning and Business Optimisation at the South African Reserve Bank since November 2024. Prior to this role, Zahier held various leadership positions at Servest SA from May 2020 to November 2024, including Managing Director and Group Executive of Shared Services, where responsibilities encompassed strategic oversight, supply chain management, and human resources leadership. Earlier experience includes Managing Executive at The Bidvest Group Limited (May 2017 - May 2020), Senior Manager at Eveready (May 2015 - April 2017), and Department Manager at AIDC (October 2009 - May 2015), where Zahier managed supply chain functions and contributed to strategic planning for automotive suppliers. Zahier Ebrahim holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and an MBA from Nelson Mandela University.
