Michelle Mee has over two decades of experience in transport policy and planning, currently serving as Manager of Planning and Design at South Bank Corporation since September 2017. Prior to this role, Michelle was the Director at the Transport Policy Branch, where the focus was on developing Queensland's long-term transport strategy. Leadership roles include Director of Systems Governance at the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, overseeing governance for several government-owned transport enterprises, and Director at the Office of Public Sector Renewal, conducting efficiency reviews for the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Michelle has also contributed significantly to policy development as Director of the Strategy Team at the Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet and as a Policy Advisor at the UK Prime Minister's Strategy Unit. Michelle earned First Class Honours from UNSW and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Newcastle.
