Gareth Ackroyd

Gareth Ackroyd is an experienced professional currently serving as the Business and Governance Lead at South Calgary Primary Care Network since July 2023. As the Business Owner of G.L.A. Corporate Secretarial Services Ltd since March 2022, Gareth provides strategic leadership for the company's growth in Canada. Previously, from December 2019 to December 2021, Gareth worked as a Business Management Consultant in Corporate Governance at HMSS, where corporate governance and secretarial services were provided while developing a comprehensive understanding of business operations. Gareth also spent over a decade at FirstRand Limited from April 2008 to December 2019, ensuring compliance with statutory and governance requirements as part of the Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial team. Gareth holds an MBA from GIBS Business School, completed in 2015.
