Anne Ainsworth

Anne Ainsworth is an accomplished professional in local government with extensive experience in operational management, economic development, and youth services. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at South Cambridgeshire District Council since July 2020, a role that builds on their previous positions at Birmingham City Council, where Anne held multiple titles including Assistant Director of Employment & Skills and Acting Corporate Director for Children & Young People from May 2016 to July 2020. Prior to this, Anne worked at Liverpool City Council as Strategic Economic Development Manager and held the role of Economic Policy Manager at Lancashire County Council. Anne began their career at Ribble Valley Borough Council as a Regeneration Officer. Anne's educational background includes studies at Lancaster University from 2011 to 2013.
