John Stanford

John Stanford has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. John has held various leadership positions in the credit union industry, including Vice President of Lending at South Carolina Federal Credit Union and Vice President of Consumer & Mortgage Lending at Heritage Federal Credit Union. John is experienced in leading teams, setting goals, and improving sales performance. Prior to their credit union roles, John worked as an International Financial Analyst and Electronic Engineering Technician at DESA. John also served in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician.

John Stanford earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Western Kentucky University between 2000 and 2003. John also obtained a Certification in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the SRCUS CUNA Management School, completing the program from 2010 to 2012. Prior to their university education, they attended the United States Navy from 1993 to 1995 and completed the Electronics Technician A School, specializing in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
