Maggie Nichols

Maggie Nichols has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communication. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Marketing and Communication at South Carolina Federal Credit Union, where they managed PR and social media strategies, crisis communications, and community involvement. Prior to that, they worked at JLL as a Senior Communications Associate, focusing on announcing deals, building relationships with media, and executing social media campaigns. Maggie also gained experience at Walker Sands Communications, where they served as an Account Executive and later as a Senior Media Relations Specialist, working with retail technology clients to raise brand awareness and secure media coverage. Maggie started their career at Alpaytac Public Relations & Marketing Communications as a Junior Account Executive, leading the internship program, assisting with new client acquisition, and developing PR strategies. Maggie also had internship experiences with Ackermann PR, Volunteer Princess Cruises, Centreville School, and The Tombras Group, where they gained hands-on experience in various aspects of public relations, event planning, and social media management.

Maggie Nichols obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, between the years 2009 and 2012.
