Donnell MacKlin

Donnell Macklin is an experienced professional currently serving as a Workstation Support Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina since February 2024. Concurrently, Donnell has been a Sports Referee Football Umpire for the South Carolina High School League since August 2021 and operates a small business, Mack’s NOLA, known for its versatile sauce. A retired Military Veteran, Donnell accumulated over 20 years of service in the US Army as a Communication Systems Administrator and served in various capacities, including Senior Signal Support Systems. Previous umpiring roles include football, basketball, baseball, and softball for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and USSSA. Donnell is advancing education at the University of South Carolina and Louisiana State University, focusing on Integrated Information Technology and Computer Science, respectively, building upon a foundational Associate of Arts degree from Central Texas College.
