Claudia Hinterseer

Claudia Hinterseer is a seasoned multimedia professional with extensive experience in video production and journalism education. Currently serving as Lead Video Producer for Futures at the South China Morning Post since September 2018, Claudia oversees daily video news production and leads a team of producers while also engaging in the creation of documentary features. Additionally, Claudia holds lecturer positions at Hong Kong Baptist University, teaching courses on 'Generative AI-Assisted Reporting' and 'Entrepreneurial Journalism'. Previous roles include Managing Multimedia Producer at China Daily Asia Pacific, where Claudia established a multimedia department, and co-founding the renowned photography agency NOOR. Claudia has also been involved in educational initiatives through the World Press Photo Foundation and has worked on notable projects for National Geographic and The New York Times. Educational credentials include a Master's in Visual Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and various journalism-related courses from prestigious institutions.
