Emanuele Scimia

Emanuele Scimia is an experienced journalist and foreign policy analyst with a focus on international relations, China, and East Asia. Since July 2015, Emanuele has contributed to the South China Morning Post as a foreign policy writer and currently writes columns on foreign affairs for the Nikkei Asian Review. Emanuele's previous roles include serving as Deputy Editor-in-Chief and Senior Journalist at AsiaNews, contributing journalist for The Washington Times and The Jamestown Foundation, and a journalist at Asia Times. Emanuele holds a Master of Geopolitics and International Relations from University La Sapienza and a degree in Political Sciences from University Roma Tre.
