Mattia Ferreira

Lead, User Research, Ux, Strategy at South China Morning Post

Mattia Ferreira serves as the Lead of User Research and UX Strategy at South China Morning Post (SCMP) since June 2022, overseeing significant product redesigns that enhanced user retention and engagement through over 100 strategic recommendations. Mattia is also a University Lecturer at Université Côte d'Azur and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, teaching various aspects of user experience and interaction design to Master's students. Previous experience includes leadership roles in product design and user research at Viu and Weavit, as well as co-founding Quop, a tech studio. Mattia has extensive expertise in UX design processes, research, and managing product teams across various organizations including Qwant and Dassault Systèmes. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in User Experience Management from IIM Digital School and a Bachelor's degree in Visualisation Motion Design 3D from Haute École Albert Jacquard.
