Xiang Li is an experienced Air Quality Specialist at the South Coast Air Quality Management District since November 2018. Prior to this role, Xiang served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Soil, Water, and Climate at the University of Minnesota from October 2017 to October 2018, where work was conducted under the guidance of Professors Timothy Griffis and others. Xiang was also a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2012 to September 2017, focusing on atmospheric studies in the Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, working under Professor Albert A. Additionally, a summer engagement at UCLA in July 2011 provided exposure in the Department of Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences. Xiang holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (2012-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Nankai University (2008-2012).
