David Kay Mickelsen is a seasoned costume designer with extensive experience in various prominent theaters, including South Coast Repertory, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland Play House, and others. Since 1986, Mickelsen has contributed to numerous productions, showcasing skills in costume design for a wide array of theatrical works such as "Venus In Fur," "1776," "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." Mickelsen holds an MFA in Performing Arts Design and Technology from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Theater from Western Oregon University.
