Greg Davis

Greg Davis is an experienced educator and basketball coach currently teaching at South Colonie Central School District since 2024. Prior to this role, Greg served as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at La Salle Institute from May 2020 to March 2024. In addition, Greg taught 7th Grade Social Studies and held various coaching positions at Troy City Schools from October 2013 to March 2024, achieving notable success including the 2016 Section 2 Class A Championship and a spot as a NYSPHAA Class A State Finalist. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Teaching Assistant and JV Boys Basketball Coach at The Albany Academies. Greg earned a Master of Science in Adolescent Literacy from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Adolescent Education and History from St. John Fisher University.
