James Lovett

James Lovett possesses extensive experience in educational technology and leadership, serving as the Director of Technology and Data Privacy Officer at South Colonie Central School District since July 2017, while also holding the position of Supervisor of Technology and Innovation. Prior to this, James held the role of Instructional Technology Coordinator at Ballston Spa Central School District from July 2010 to July 2017, focusing on blended learning, curriculum design, and professional development. James started the career as a Technology Integration Specialist and a Secondary Education Social Studies Teacher at Albany City School District from September 2001 to July 2010, and gained additional expertise as a Presenter/Expert Teacher at Texas Instruments from September 2003 to March 2007. Academic credentials include a BA in History from the University at Albany and multiple advanced certificates in school leadership from The College of Saint Rose.
