Michael Hauptman-Magee

Michael Hauptman-Magee is a Transportation Planning Engineer at the South Dakota Department of Transportation, a position held since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Production Supervisor at Lindsay's Diversified Manufacturing Division from November 2009 to June 2012, where oversight of new facilities and employee coordination occurred. Additionally, Michael served in the US Navy as a Hull Technician and Nuclear Machinist Mate from 2000 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an Associate in Science in Pre-Civil Engineering from Metropolitan Community College. During academic tenure, Michael completed a Senior Design Class project focused on recreational land development, involving traffic analysis for a baseball field project.
