Stevie Holmes

Stevie Holmes is a skilled geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the fields of geology and environmental engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer at the South Dakota Department of Transportation since March 2021, Stevie's expertise includes foundation engineering. Previous roles include Professor at Nebraska Indian Community College, teaching geology and natural resources, and Adjunct Instructor at Wayne State College, covering introductory physical science. Stevie also worked as an Environmental Engineer for the Indian Health Service and as a Geologist at the University of South Dakota, where responsibilities included planning drilling projects and mapping geological features. Early career contributions include serving as a Librarian at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
