Daire Hennessy

Daire Hennessy currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Citywise Education, a role focused on enhancing youth education and community strength, impacting over 1000 young people annually through various academic and developmental supports. Additionally, Daire is a Community Representative on the Social, Community, and Equality Strategic Policy Committee for South Dublin County Council, actively participating in policy formulation and community planning. Previous positions include Assistant Junior Dean at Trinity College Dublin, overseeing student conduct and conflict resolution, and Community Mentoring Coordinator for a mentoring initiative supported by the Higher Education Authority. Daire also contributed to the GOAL Global Youth Programme as a Steering Group member and founded the 2030 Leaders project under Enactus, empowering youth through leadership training related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Daire holds a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Practice from Trinity College Dublin and is furthering education with a Special Purpose Award in Non-Profit Leadership and Management.
