Joanna Shippey

Joanna Shippey is an experienced community engagement and communications professional, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at South East Water UK since October 2017. Prior to this role, Joanna was a Press Officer focused on policing and safety at Transport for London (May 2016 - October 2017), where collaboration with policing partners and the Mayor of London was key to various campaigns. Earlier experience includes senior roles at South East Water UK, managing media engagement and high-profile engineering project promotions, and a tenure at KM Media Group as Chief Multimedia Journalist. Joanna also worked as a Freelance Broadcast Journalist at ITV Meridian. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and various leadership and public relations certifications.
