John M. Barrett

John M. Barrett has extensive experience in municipal management spanning over two decades, currently serving as the Township Manager of South Fayette Township since January 2019. Prior to this position, Barrett held the role of Borough Manager in Baldwin, overseeing a significant budget and managing employee benefits. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Director of Friendship Development Associates, Inc., and Chief Administrator for the Municipality of Murrysville. Barrett's earlier career includes positions as Director of Programs at the Local Government Academy and Director of Operations at the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. Educationally, Barrett holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Delaware and pursued further studies at Duquesne University.
