Pete Valerioti, MBA, currently serves as Portfolio Lending Manager at South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union, a position held since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing loan quality and risk management within the credit union's portfolio while monitoring environmental risk factors. Previously, Pete held the role of VP Lending at the same institution, managing various loan types, including Consumer Loans and Mortgages. Prior to this, Pete was the VP Senior Lending Officer at University Credit Union in Miami, overseeing Home Equity, Consumer, and Commercial Loans for an asset size of $220 million. From 1996 to 2011, Pete worked at Tropical Financial Credit Union as VP Lending and later as VP Retail Branches, focusing on lending operations and branch management. Pete began their career at Tropical Financial Credit Union as a Branch Manager from 1988 to 1996. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s in Business from Nova Southeastern University.
