Senior Director Of Creative Services at South Florida PBS

Norman Silva has a diverse work experience in the creative and educational fields. Norman has served as the Senior Director of Creative Services at South Florida PBS since 2011, where they manage multiple projects and mentors a team of designers. Norman also worked as a 3D Freelance Artist and Broadcast Graphic Designer at Univision Communications Inc. from 2012 to 2014, where they developed national news broadcast graphics. Additionally, Silva created and produced the educational brand Color with Leo at Silvanim, Inc. from 2005 to 2011, and taught design and animation courses as a Visiting Professor at Florida Atlantic University from 2004 to 2010.

Norman Silva holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Computer Art from Florida Atlantic University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. In September 2018, Norman obtained a certification in 3D Content Creation for Virtual Reality from LinkedIn.
