Gabriel Zahora, MDM, CEM®, serves as a Battalion Chief and Foreign Affairs Coordinator for the Fire Department of the City of Fort Lauderdale since November 2006, overseeing international relations with various fire entities and governmental agencies. With extensive experience in emergency management, including roles as Fire Captain, Assistant Emergency Manager, and emergency management specialist, Gabriel supports the strategic operations of fire suppression and disaster preparedness. Additionally, as an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, Gabriel develops international programs focused on disaster response, and also holds the position of Argentina Country Chair for Greater Fort Lauderdale Sister Cities International, fostering diplomatic and educational partnerships. Gabriel's educational background includes a Master's degree in Disaster Management from Florida International University and Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in Emergency Management and Fire Science Technology, respectively.
