Bakari Powell

Bakari Powell is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Specialist III at the South Florida Water Management District since October 2023. Prior to this role, Powell worked as a Stormwater Asset Supervisor at the City of Palm Coast from February 2023 to September 2023, and held the position of Co-Manager at RaceTrac between July 2021 and January 2023. Powell's previous experience includes serving as a Hydrologist III, Hydrologist II, and Engineer I at the St. Johns River Water Management District from October 2017 to May 2021. Earlier career opportunities include working as an Engineering Technician for the USDA, with internships at USDA/NRCS during summer sessions over three years.
