Kathy Collins

Kathy Collins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering management within the water management sector. Currently serving as Assistant Bureau Chief at the South Florida Water Management District since July 2023, Kathy has been with the organization since November 1998, holding previous roles as Section Leader and Section Administrator, where responsibilities included providing engineering support for infrastructure and capital planning related to water control structures and managing specialized engineering teams. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at the Federal Reserve Bank, overseeing cash services and check processing operations. Kathy holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
