Savannah Wentley Middlebush, Esq. serves as an Environmental Attorney in the Everglades & Environmental Law Division at the South Florida Water Management District since February 2021. Prior to this role, Savannah held various legal positions, including as a Summer Litigation Extern at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, where contributions included drafting trial briefs and preparing expert witnesses for a successful state sovereignty land trial. Experience as an Associate Attorney at Conroy Simberg involved drafting pre-trial motions and taking witness depositions in worker's compensation defense. As In-House Counsel for Halmos & Sons, Savannah managed civil and business litigation, while initial legal internships included work with the Florida State Attorney's Office in both the County Court and Felony divisions. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Environmental Law & Policy from Florida State University College of Law and a Juris Doctor from Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Pre-Law from Auburn University.
