Alison Peterman

Alison Peterman, CIA CHC, currently serves as the Compliance Officer at South Georgia Medical Center, where oversight of the compliance program, enforcement of internal controls, and development of compliance training for 3,000 employees are key responsibilities. With extensive experience in internal auditing and compliance, Alison has held various roles including Director of Internal Audit and Internal Auditor, focusing on financial and operational audits to protect organizational assets. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Internal Auditor at PAB Bankshares, Inc., and managing toll accounting functions at Griffin, LLC. Alison's foundational experience in accounting was established at Florida State University, complemented by a BBA in Accounting from Valdosta State University.
