Under Randy's leadership, Northeast Georgia Health System was recognized as one of the top 10 hospitals in the nation for overall hospital care, stroke care, women's health, and cardiac care. Randy also played a key role in NGHS being named Georgia's #1 Hospital for the third consecutive year.

Randy Smith has a Master of Science in Nursing and Health Systems Management from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University. Randy also has certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Nursing Executive Advanced - Board Certified (NEA-BC).

Randy Smith reports to Ronald E. Dean, President and Chief Executive Officer. They work with John Moore - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Chuck Marshburn - CIO & HIPAA Security Officer, and Brenda Alexander - Vice President of South Georgia Physician Network and Chief Human Resources Officer.
